The Rescaper is an extremely safe, durable, efficient and multi-purpose descent device for emergency evacuations by allowing a person to quickly descend from a high-rise structure quicker than conventional means such as stairs, ladders or common pulley system when emergency exits are blocked and not accessible.
The Rescaper uses centrifugal force to control descent speed. The braking system is wear-proof and remains safe and functional whatever the frequency and duration of use. Rescapers also provide a longer descent range than other descent devices on the market.
The Rescaper can also be added to the roof of a building or to the ladder of the fire truck for evacuating people or equipment and is certified by the Canadian Standards Association and complies with NFPA and UL technical requirements for rescue devices.
